I must say that I had THE most AWESOME time!! Dustbunny (NOT to be confused with the Rabbit) had a great night! Valis DOES know how to throw a party. Much thanks to him AND his roommate for the great homemade food, hospitality, and patience!
I loved meeting everyone. The pics are great! I have so many new friends now....better start budgeting for those XMAS gifts!!!
Personally, we drove in from Houston...about 4.5 to 5 hours. It was TOTALLY worth it!!

i believe this mother of eight has more courage in her little finger than those elders do in their whole body.

Amazing work. That is definitely the "truth" in a nutshell. Very confusing to the average person....almost explainable by a special pioneer who is an elder and missionary, of the 16th generation of dubs in their family, and they've never missed a meeting or ever been DF'd or reproved...you know, the perfect dub. Maybe that JW could almost explain it.

Don't feel like a fool, Dude. They are experts at this mind game. They are subtle, deceitful, angels of light just like the satan they describe. We were all taken advantage of and raped. In a way, we are like the children that the members of the WTS molest. We were naive and trusting. We were abused by someone that said they loved us and threatened not to tell...silenced by disfellowshipping and shunning. Some of us share the feeling afterward that WE did something wrong....that it was OUR fault. But it isn't! We are victims...and the trauma is real!
